About me.

Hey friends!

My name is Patricia Vo. I have people call me Trish because I just felt that "Patricia" sounded a bit plain and not as fun. I am a senior in high school, barely surviving the senioritis that I got sophomore year! Student Council has been apart of my life since sophomore year. I've learned to be more outgoing and energetic because of the people that I've met throughout the years of being in the class. It has also taught me a lot about dedication and stay focused to achieve big things that you want in life.

One of my biggest passions in life is clearly, photography. I never considered myself as an artistic person until I found my passion for photography. When I was in 9th grade, I got my first camera. It was a Sony a8 point and shoot camera. I was so convinced that film was my calling and that was what my passion was. Naturally, I just picked up that hobby for two years. Summer going into  junior year, I decided to work hard as a receptionist at my parent's nail salon to save up and buy a new camera. I knew I wanted to change it up and get a Canon, but I had no idea what was even considered a good camera for what I wanted to use it for. I saved up for all of summer and ended up buying a T6i. I thought it was the best of the best because I bought it on my own and everything but I didn't really know my options anyways. Silly Trish. Then, after purchasing the beloved camera, I filmed everything I did. Not to mention, I had the YouTuber phase where I thought I was cool enough to start a channel and vlog my days. OH MY GOD. Definitely my most cringy phase in life!! It was February 19, 2017, my student council class went on our annual Disneyland leadership trip. I had a senior friend that wanted photos that she could post and say that she took her senior photos at Disneyland. I offered, and realized that I was in love with how fun it was to take photos. The photos turned out surprisingly decent, so that friend believed in my  potential and let me take her senior portraits. After taking her photos, that was exactly how my career began and now I get more and more opportunities everyday to do what I love.
