Finding your happiness.

This past week I've been trying to work on being truly happy and finding happiness in my every day life. I wake up in the morning with a big smile. I write down one thing that made me happy that day before bed. And edit some photos as well. I realized while doing it that having a positive mindset is such a big part of it. You grow more as a human because you're valuing what you have in your life. We all know that life is short but we never really do much to make sure we live a good life.. Most of the time we just "ride the wave" because it's just easier to go along with whatever. My goal this year is to take on my days and make it mine. Not to always "ride the wave" but to take charge and make my days good ones! I'm still so young and I want to make sure I go on lots of adventures so when I'm older I have stories to tell my children. I constantly ask myself while sitting in class, "What if I die tomorrow?" And I realize that in that moment I have not done enough! Yes, I know what you're thinking. "Trish, you're still a senior in high school." Yes. I'm well aware!! But that doesn't mean that I'm excluded from having dreams and aspirations early in life. I hope you guys know that you're suppose to dream big and find what you love to do because when you do, life just just makes a little bit more sense. You start to realize what your purpose is and what you're good at doing. It's one of the most amazing feelings ever. I hope everyone finds what they love to do like I did. It's been one of the best things to ever happen to me.

My goal is to go on at least one adventure a week. Big or small. Whether it is finding a cute new coffee shop or driving around town admiring the mountains. I just want to soak it all up. So here's to new adventures and finding your happiness.
